How to use this enquiry form

The form builds a local enquiry summary that you can review before sharing it with the freight team. Fill in the three groups in order: products and packaging, packed weight and volume, and the China origin and US destination. Product names should describe the form, ingredients and intended use, because liquids, creams, powders, aerosols and alcohol-containing items are assessed differently. Use “To be confirmed” for measurements that are not ready, and update them before booking, because a quote built on estimates changes once the final packed size is known.

What happens after you prepare the details

Once the enquiry summary is ready, the freight team works from the same set of facts. The product details and packed measurements are used to confirm cargo acceptance and build the quotation; the origin and destination addresses define the collection and delivery scope; and the same information feeds the shipping plan and the US entry records. If the products, packing or address change later, the plan is checked again so that the quote, the booking and the documents stay consistent.

Field by field: what the form asks

Product name and form. Name the product as it appears on the label and choose the form that matches: liquid, cream, solid, powder or mixed. Aerosols and alcohol-containing products are mentioned in the additional requirements field so they are reviewed at the start.

Carton count, total gross weight and total packed volume. These describe the shipment as packed, not the unboxed goods. If pallets travel with the cargo, their measurements are part of the same set. Estimates are acceptable in the first enquiry; confirm the final figures before booking.

Pickup city in China and US delivery ZIP code. The origin city defines the collection scope, and the ZIP code defines the destination leg. Together with the delivery address type they determine which charges apply on each side of the ocean.

Delivery address type and cargo-ready date. Whether the goods go to a US warehouse, an ecommerce fulfilment facility or a business address changes the receiving rules and the delivery arrangements. The cargo-ready date tells the freight team when the shipment can be collected.
